TEXT 218-434-0744 to make a boarding reservation
Space is limited to 5 rooms...QUALITY CARE, not quantity of dogs!
Boarding:
Each dog will have its own spacious 8' x 8' room (not a crate) in my climate-controlled kennel building,
with full-time access to their own 5' x 10' (10' x 10' for double occupancy room) outdoor yard as well!
The outdoor yards have cement slabs now vs crushed rock,
which makes their outdoor yards more secure, clean and safe (no digging under to get to neighboring dogs!)
the exterior walls are now steel siding, and interior rooms have 6' x 8' area rugs for a more cozy home atmosphere.
Those updates are all on my Facebook page photos/videos.
I provide cots with blankets for them to sleep on, as well as stainless steel food bowls and water bowls,
plus every day they get a different set of 5 or more fun dog toys to entertain themselves.
I will take them out to run outdoors on my 10 acres a MINIMUM of twice a day
(realistically I do it every 3-4 hours between 6am-8pm)
whether your preference is on-leash, off leash or with e-collars you provide that you have trained them with.
All you have to do is bring enough food for your furry family member's stay :)
I provide air tight food containers (a large 3 gallon size) for each room, so you may bring your dog food in a bag or ziplock bags.
You may bring your own container as well, just clearly label your dog's food container
with their name and feeding amounts per meal.
You ARE welcome to bring their bed/blanket/treats/toys etc.
My extended stay boarding fee is $35/day, per dog
If you have 2 dogs that can room together, my fee will be $60 for the both of them, per day.
My fee is per CALENDAR DAY as I don't have a "check out" and "check in" time
as my clients' drop off and pick up times vary.
My ONE-DAY-ONLY daycare fee is $40 for ONE dog ($75 for 2 sharing a room)
must be paid in full upon booking, and is non-refundable without a one week notice.
I am located just 6 miles east of International Falls, off of Highway #11.
2960 Town Road #224 (road sign says UT#224)
Look for my big billboard sign at the end of my driveway :)
I have 10 acres that includes large lawn areas as well as woods with trails I keep groomed year round as well :)
Boarding Policies:
By boarding your pet(s) here, you are consenting to read and abide by the policies listed below 😊
It is also your responsibility to check on any updates of boarding policies and fees before your pet's stay.
Boarding Policies: (last updated 3/20/2025)
1. TEXT me a screenshot that shows your pet(s) current vaccinations.
2. Written/typed info card listing your pet(s) feeding amount & schedule,
unless you have it written on their own food container;
please include on this or a separate note card any allergies or RX info ,
I do have notecards available for you to use as well, just ask :)
3. Text me your emergency contact information
so I can add it to your contact information that I keep in my phone;
4. You authorize me to bring your dog to the vet in case of an emergency
and I cannot reach you or your emergency contact.
If your pet is over 1 year old & NOT spayed or neutered, you MUST inform me!
This is to prevent aggressiveness between dogs as well as dogs attempting to breed.
I will not be held liable or responsible for any type of accident or pregnancy due to lack of disclosure on any pet owner’s part.
If I am informed, then I am able to do my due diligence to prevent these types of incidents. THANKS!
I reserve the right to decline dogs if I feel they aren't a good fit for my facility
(aggressive towards other dogs/destructive to property)
I am LLC.
• You are welcome to bring your pet(s)’ own bedding & favorite toys as well,
but I do provide cots with blankets and a great variety of toys of all sizes for all sizes of pets.
Their favorite treats are fine to bring too, but I also have treats I give (unless have allergies).
• E-collar trained dogs must bring own e-collar and charging units please.
I do have retractable leashes I can use for those who only have short leashes,
and if you have a dog that doesn’t do well on a leash (example-pulling hard)
I will use a simple slip chain collar on them if needed.
• Bring exact cash for payment in full at DROP-OFF of pet(s)
or send via Venmo (friends method NOT goods/service please) day before drop off.
Payment is expected in full at drop off as if there would happen to be an emergency
& you need someone else to pick up your pet(s),
I do not want to have to try to collect payment from them, thanks.
• The reservation fee is due when you make your reservation
(via Venmo (friends method, NOT "goods/service" please), electronic bank transfer,
(or USA cash in hand if Canadian)
and is half of the amount of the stay of your pet(s).
Reservations are best made the month before,
but if I have availability I always accept boarders with shorter notice.
I will no longer be accepting reservations more than 2 months in advance .
For example, reservations for the month of July can be made anytime after June 1st
I will not be reaching out to confirm reservations anymore-your deposit is your confirmation.
Deposits will be forfeited without a minimum of a 3 day notice.
I enjoy taking the dogs out of the kennel building to run and play off leash,
so rest assured your beloved pet won’t be cooped up in their room all day long,
although I keep a radio on full time as well so they can sing & dance while I am not playing with them ;) LOL
I do take and post videos of the dogs I board on my Rainy Lake Loving Retreat Facebooks page,
as it helps give their people peace of mind seeing them enjoy themselves at my facility.
I also have virtual tour of inside and outside my kennel building pinned on this page.
